La Finta Giardiniera Opera Poster

The objective of this project was to create a poster and programme for the Royal Irish Academy of Music's La Finta Giardiniera opera. The idea for my identity came from layering imagery and text over one another – a concept that visually represents the different layers of a person, the parts of them that they are trying to hide and the different parts that they choose to show. The text includes quotes from the opera, character names, information and dates. The different colour stock and contast of scale look quite and the sporadic layout echoes the scenes of chaos and madness in the opera.
