Queer Film Institute (QFI) connects audiences with Queer media from around the world, amplifying new voices in the global conversation. Its mission is to “cultivate queer expression globally through media arts” and to celebrate queer film and stories from different sexualities, races, genders, religions, cultures, abilities, ideologies, and class backgrounds. Their projects include film festivals, film directories and podcasts about Queer film.

The visual identity aims to represent Queer media through colour and the concept of the angular film strip, which is used as a graphic device across different brand applications. It’s film that’s not straight; Queer film. The logo suite embodies the diversity and vibrancy of QFI. The logo is adaptable and legible across a range of media and contexts.
